Trust your journey. So many times in our lives we question where we find ourselves, be it in work, relationships, friendships or families.
How many times have you said to yourself "what am I doing with my life", "When will things change" "Why are things not better."
Well the thing is, this journey we are all on is an incredibly complex one with many pathways leading to many more.
Often we find ourselves on a pathway that we do not understand.

Imagine this... Imagine the pathway you are on now and literally turn it into a pathway on a map in your mind, then imagine that you are a bird flying over that pathway, you suddenly are able to see where the pathway leads to next as well as all the possibilities once you join the next path. It becomes a huge map of life's varied pathways.
When we just take the bugs eye view we forget the bigger picture.
Take the birds eye view, trust the journey and where you are right now.

The horse is a universal symbol of freedom without restraint

So many parts of our lives restrain us from who we truly are and who we truly want to be.


The freedom comes when we understand the restraints we have are made by ourselves.

When we can seek for the freedom of the untamed spirit inside of us freeing it from its chains, then nothing will restrain us.

We can be free to be who we are.

So let go of what restrains you and realise you have the answers, you hold the key to the to locks binding your spirit.

When was the last time you did something for the first time?
This is a great question, not only does it open your mind up to when it last was you actually stepped out your comfort zone, it also unlocks the memories of past things you did for the first time. 
There are so many first times...... take a pause and just think about all the wonderful memories you have of the first time you did something.... 
There is nothing stopping you from exploring new things, except yourself and often fear. 
We get so stuck in the same routines and patterns that we forget to live, to experience, to try, to be scared and do it anyway. 
You can still achieve the unknown, experience the unexperienced live the moments you dream about. Life and happiness are a sequence of moments, choose your moments and go and make some beautiful memories. It is never too late and there are always new things to experience.

What will you do for the first time?

Don't look outside, look inside yourself
When we look within we find what we spend forever searching for in the world outside of us. 
The life force we look for in others or the world is strongest within us.
The most precious Gems in the world are found within us. 
We forget that we hold so much within us. 
We hold the key to within we just have to unlock the door and look.
We must stop seeking things outside of us, expecting the world or other people to complete us or make us happy. 
True happiness begins from inside. When we can accept and love our beautiful, unique self.
Then that peace and joy that we seek will remain  and will not be a mere fleeting moment of something that we long to hold on to forever.

There is a life force within your soul, seek that life

Let everything that wants to go, go. 
Let everything that wants to come, come. And so it is

We must allow ourselves to be truly open in order to receive and to release.
When we close ourselves down or build up walls we are not just shutting others out, we are shutting ourselves in.
There are times when retreating into our shell may be beneficial for some down time, reflection and healing.
We have to ensure we do not get stuck in this space that feels safe or we can not progress and heal properly.
When we stay hidden behind these walls we build, there is no room for releasing and letting go, and no room for receiving what we are meant to receive.
Full moon is a great time to practise this mantra and allow yourself to find some space to release and receive.

So practice this mantra .... I let everything that wants to go, go. I let everything that wants to come, come. And so it is. Namaste.

🙏💜🙏 Redirection not Rejection 🙏💜🙏

You are not being rejected you are being redirected to something better
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, right ... Then why do we find it so hard to take the lessons learned from hindsight and use them to give us some foresight?
How many times in your life have you felt rejection or lived in fear of rejection? I imagine the answer to be many times. In fact many missed opportunities come down to the fear of rejection. 
Yet if you look back to those situations in your past where you felt rejected you can see you were merely being redirected to something better. 
The missed opportunities are not the ones you were redirected from they are the ones you fear being redirected to.
What if we turn it on it's head and decide that all the times you were rejected..... all the opportunities missed due to fear of rejection, were actually all redirections. 
Let's delete the word rejection and replace it with redirection... now let's see.
'I am worried to try change this situation because I fear redirection'.. hmm makes it all seem very different.
"I am scared to go and talk to that person in case I get redirected to someone better" 
Go ahead and look and your rejection fears and change them to redirections and see how they lose the power they hold over you.
Hindsight should inform you in life that each time you have felt rejection from something, you were merely being redirected to something better. So take this hindsight and use it to dispel your fears of rejection. There is no rejection only redirection. Ban the word from vocabulary, ban the word from your thoughts. 

Every time from now on you think of the word rejection, change it to redirection ..... and remember the universe has your back!


🙏💜🙏 Focus on the lesson 🙏💜🙏

If you focus on the hurt you will continue to suffer, if you focus on the lesson you will continue to grow
Life is a journey.... some points in our journey cause us suffering, some cause us joy ... both cause us growth.
Whether or not the moment was joyful or painful, ultimately we grow. 
The only variable in this outcome is time. The longer we stay focused on the hurt, the longer we will suffer. 
There is, with all pain a healing process to go through ... recognition, grieving and acceptance.  
When we have moved through these stages, the focus should change from the pain to the lesson. With all pain there comes a lesson. Things we learn about life, ourself, others, the world, the universe etc. 
The point is that when we stay focused on the pain we remain a victim of it and we are unable to move on and grow. Look back and see what you have gained and how you have grown.

Allow yourself to move on from your pain, choose growth and happiness

Many problems in the world would disappear if we talked to each other instead of about each other

Firstly... stop and think about this....
How many people right now do you have a problem with in life?Ok, next, how many of those people have you talked to about it?
How many other people have you talked to about the problems you have with those people?

The tendency is to talk to everyone you know except the person you have a problem with. This can be said both in business and in personal relationships.
Open, honest communication done in a loving caring way is vital for problem solving in any type of relationship.
When we talk to everyone else, we tend to get many opinions that will often be bias. Also any advice given is without the ability to see the whole picture. This just clouds our judgement even more! Resentment builds up to a point where the the original, perhaps very small issue with the person in question has suddenly become a huge great big impossible mountain.

When we are talking about someone else, perhaps we are emotional at the time, seeking some reassurance that we have a right to be upset or angry about this person or this situation. Seeking justification for our anger and frustration only increases it. None of this actually solves the problem or helps in any way other than to fuel your own negativity. 
So what should do?

If you are feeling particularly emotional about a situation it is best to wait until those emotions have settled down. Things said in anger or tears often do not come across in the way we wish they did the next day. When we communicate in anger or sadness we are just expressing our emotion about how the situation has affected us not and not discussing the problem at hand.

Best to wait for a cool head and then go directly to person, not via any one else. Just pick up the phone or if its closer go and ask for a chat. Express your concerns in a calm way and also listen to other person. Often things can be a big misunderstanding.

Also, rather than saying things like "you did this...you did that" try and not point the finger too much, better to say "this situation made me feel like this..."

This helps prevent the person from getting defensive and they feel more able to listen and try to understand your feelings. An automated response for many when the finger is pointed at them is to defend, even if guilty. We have our survival genes to thank for that one! This is often how arguments get out of hand. So keep it calm and talk about yourself and the situation trying to stay away from blaming and you will find many situation and problems can be resolved this way.

If everyone actually did this on a large scale imagine how many problems would prevented n the world.

So if you have a problem with someone right now. Take a breath and pick up the phone and sort it out. Silence and multiple sharing with others will only inflate the problem.

🙏💜🙏 All children are artists! 🙏💜🙏

All children are artists, the problem is how to remain an artists once we grow up. 
Do you remember the wonderful drawings you did as a child? You probably don’t remember many of your drawings, but perhaps you do remember the feeling doing artwork gave to you.
Children are naturally all present in the moment. When they are creating, that is all they are doing, they become that picture.
Whatever we did as children we truly lived in that moment and wow did it make the moments more intense. 
Climbing a tree was not about technical ability or strategy, it was about the tree and whatever fantasy story we playing out in our head at the time.
Riding a bike was not about where we were going,  it was about the pleasure and exhilaration of the bike ride. 
Painting a picture was not making sure all parts were equal, it was about enjoying that moment of expression and creation.
So what happened!?! …  We were all told to grow up! To plan, to worry, to achieve, to impress, to do. We become human doings, instead of human beings. 
We spend the first part of our lives living in the moment ,surrounded by a society who constantly tells us to worry about everything else except the moment. 
We eventually learn to forget the moments we are in and replace these moments with worries and fears about things that have already happened and things that have not happened. So what happened to the moment?
We then start to realise that life is not quite right, something feels a little off (to say the least) so perhaps we start to read some spiritual books, do a little soul searching, tune in a bit more. We the discover everyone is telling us to live in the moment!  So we had it right all along, we knew as a child in our natural state that the only true thing was the moment we were in. 
So how to find that again? One of the best ways to do that is by going back to your childhood enjoyments. Read one of your favourite books that you used to get lost in. Get some finger paints and truly express yourself … for you, not to compare art skills or to say i can’t draw, it doesn't matter… every expression of the self is art! 
It doesn't matter what you create, free yourself and get creating so you can free the inner child and find pleasure in the moments in life. The more you tune back in to this freedom of moment living the easier it will become. 

So grab some paints, plasticine, jump in some puddles, or whatever else you fancy and let that inner child express itself.

🙏💜🙏 Closer to where you belong 🙏💜🙏

Some journeys in life take us farther than where we were but closer to where we belong.
Sometimes in life we are just comfortable with being uncomfortable, familiar with the unfamiliar, accepting of the unacceptable. 
As humans we are very adaptable to our surroundings, an amazing survival trait: the ability to adjust to all sorts of extremes!
The problem is, we often use this ancestral survival skill when we shouldn't. We get so used to what is 'normal' even when that normal means we are unhappy or in a situation which is damaging to our mind, body and soul.
The thought of moving away from this situation into the unknown can be daunting, it is often this fear that keeps us right where we are, 'stuck in the mud'.
What we fail to see is within the unknown are other opportunities, different life chances, new things, better ways.
When we start to journey away from the familiar, the further we get down the pathway the closer we become to where we are meant to be and where we belong.
The first step on the path is the hardest as it is a step into the unknown.... we think! However, this step into the unknown is closer to the known than we think, when we finally start to venture on the pathway to where we belong and off the pathway where we think we should be, everything unknown becomes known and your true self and belonging will start to emerge like a beautiful butterfly coming out of it's chrysalis.
It really is far more scary to stay stuck than it is to venture out and find your true self. As soon as you take that first step towards your true self the rest will follow and your pathway will become brighter and your load lighter.

So take that first step into the unknown and trust the universe will be guiding you right to where you belong.

With Acceptance Comes Peace
Life is a continuous journey full of many events that enlighten us in ways that we sometimes do not understand. We experience both pleasure and pain, laughter and joy. 
For many the journey can be so difficult that it stops them right in their tracks. Unable to continue, unable to take the next step and see that there may be light up ahead if they just keep on going.
So often the thing that freezes a person on the journey is the inability to accept what is happening. 
This can be extremely difficult to do when going through a painful experience. 
It is important to learn the habit of looking at whatever happens though a positive mindset not a negative defeatist one. 
Life is full of challenges and the sooner we begin to nurture acceptance the easier it becomes to deal with future challenges. 
When we fight things and resist them we are unable to move on with our lives and therefore cannot reach the potential doors of opportunity and happiness that are waiting further down the path. 
We must accept that there may be hope and light further down the road even though at this moment in life is so difficult. 
So what we are accepting is that right now life is challenging but there may be hope and light ahead but only in accepting the pain and challenge that is here right now can we begin to move toward the hope. 
Remember acceptance is a choice that can help you prepare for the ever changing path of life. There are times to persist and times to accept, know when to let go.
Try not to judge what has happened or why and trust that everything happens for a reason and there are better things to follow. 
Try not to spend time overthinking it, as we cannot understand the bigger picture of the universe all the time, but when we have faith, accept and move on often we find peace.

So when a door is closed in front of your face, accept the closed door and look around you to see how many windows are still open.

🙏💜🙏 Breaking down the walls 🙏💜🙏

Sometimes we put walls up not to keep people out but to see who cares enough to break them down.
So many people put up so many different types of walls. We hide behind these walls feeling safe and secure from the world and its pains and insecurities waiting for the knight in shining armour to come and break them down, to prove we are worth loving.
The problem is that it is never good to wait for another person to make us feel better about ourselves. When we put our trust in others to feel good we inevitably feel let down. 
If we cannot love ourselves enough to break down the wall then anyone we expect or hold responsible to do this has no chance. Even if this persons loves us, they have no hope of success when we are yet to love ourselves.  How can we receive love from another when we cannot love ourselves. How can we find a soul mate when we do not know our own soul? How can we put this responsibility onto somebody else?
So be your own knight in shining armour, love yourself enough to break down the walls you hide behind. Self love is the strongest wall you can ever have ..... it holds no barriers for you or anyone else. 




Everything always starts from within including breaking down the walls. So get the self love chisel out and chisel away at those walls to free yourself.

🙏💜🙏 Wings to Fly 🙏💜🙏

Give the ones you love wings to fly...
so they can be free to explore the universe, find themselves and their own beliefs.
Give them roots to come back... so they feel safe to explore know ing there is always somewhere and someone safe to come back to.
Give them reasons so stay... so that when they return they see this is their home.
Sometimes our own fears and insecurities cause us to restrict the ones we love and prevent them from walking on their own journey in this world. 
We must remember that we all have a journey and though we may walk along the path with another, it is still their journey and their path and we must allow them to explore it and grow their own way. 
When our fears cause us to hold back those we love it creates friction causing a stagnation of the spirit of everyone involved, until no-one is moving forward anymore. 
Eventually this restriction causes the very thing we feared would happen in the first place, which is why we behave this way...we loose them. 
The very fears of loss that caused the need to control and restrict pushes away the person leaving everyone trying to put themselves back together again. 
Trust your path....trust their path....everyone has a different journey to walk and it is not for us to decide how another should walk theirs.

Remember you can only walk your path....not anyone elses

When you expand you belief system you expand your connections
We expand as far as we think we can expand. We connect as far as we think we can connect. 
Expand your world, go beyond the space that exists within you. Reach further than the world you see around you. Think bigger than the world you know. There exists a whole universe that we keep being told we know so little about. 
We have been told for so long how little we know that we believe it, leaving us feeling we are no longer connected to the universe. We feel disconnected from this universe we apparently know so little about.
Everything is energy and energy is everything, time and space does not limit our connection. There are many star systems, many life forms, many times we may have experienced these life forms is our past lives. 
Explore all this in your thoughts. Allow yourself to go beyond the knowledge you are told you have. Reach out to connect to the innate knowledge that exists within all of us. 
Many people have experienced memories of past lives from other solar systems such as the Pleidian Star System. The Pleides are a well-known sight in the Northern Hemisphere in winter and in the Southern Hemisphere in summer, and have been known since ancient times to cultures all around the world. There is a link at the bottom of this post to an interesting article about this. 

Try and let go of any restrictions you may have in your belief system and explore beyond what you think you know to discover the innate knowledge within.

Connect To The Energy and Go with The Flow
Going with the flow is something we seem to naturally fight against in life. 
The flow is taking us one direction in a reasonably smooth manner... hence the word flow... and we are fighting like crazy to take a different direction and wondering why things are a struggle.
Most of this fighting is caused by our ancestral brain thinking it knows best. 
Evolution hasn't quite caught up with spirituality yet. We know things because we just do, it's called connection to the universe, its called gut instinct, its called intuition. Our brain says...Whoe, wait a minute, lets take that instinctual gut feeling and try to rationalise it!!! Lets take that spiritual moment and try to analyse it and see if we can fit it into some rational box that makes more sense. Huh...now when you look at it like that, it really doesn't make sense to allow the brain to step in. 
So whether it be instincts, intuition or guidance... Call it what you will it all boils down to the same thing, if and when we connect to the energy of the universe and tune out of our ancestral brains, we find it easier to go with the flow, which results in us always being and going where we should be, instead of fighting to be or go to a place we definitely shouldn't be....phew !! 
We need to learn that our ancestral tool.. the brain... does not know best when it comes to things like life direction, spiritual decisions etc....it is great at problems, sums and other practical stuff , but why oh why do we keep thinking it knows best when it come to the whole spiritual path? 

Tune out of your mind.....Connect to the energy.....and go with the flow....

You Are Never Too Old To Wish Upon A Star
We spend the first half of our life being told to grow up and the second half trying to find the child within us again. 
If only we never lost the connection in the first place. Remember how hard it was to grow up...to lose the temptation to be in the moment...to just be. Being told to pay attention and concentrate when our minds were drifting into our imaginations and inner core. Really it all came so natural to us when we were children. The whole living in the moment thing. The emptying the head thing, now known as 'meditation'.  
All the things we now seek in our adult life are the things we had forced out of us growing up. Then suddenly we find ourselves disconnected from our true self. 
The reason we have to seek out the inner child is because this is where the natural ability to be at peace and in tune with our inner self resides. 
It resides in the child because when we came into this world we were our in our most natural self. The closer we can get back to the moment before we were told who to be the more connected we will become.
Allow yourself to be free, create, read, jump in puddles, draw like a child. Dig out one of your favourite old child hood books and read it again. In fact do anything to connect to the child within you for in doing this you will connect to the infinite self.



You are never too old to be young, so seek out those things that you loved as a child and find joy with them once more.

Believe that what is in front of you is greater than what is behind you
Our mind uses previous experiences to help us understand our current situation and possible future outcomes. The problem with this is that we often perceive our previous experiences in a negative way making it difficult to look forward to the future with a positive attitude.
What if we view all our previous experiences as just that.... an experience...a life experience in which we learn and grow from, whether there was pain or joy attached to the experience it was still an experience in which we have survived, right?
Now, lets take it a little further and say that with each experience comes growth, wisdom and another step forward on life's journey. That would mean there really is nothing ahead of us that will not be greater than that behind us as we are always moving forward even when we feel we are not.
Take a look back at your life and the experiences you had.....in the end...eventually they have probably moved you forward in some way.

So with all this in mind......we can stop worrying and trust that our spiritual pathway is one of growth and moving forward, therefore we can let go of some of those fears and go with the flow of life a little more.

I see better when my eyes are closed
Most of us suffer with information overload. Our senses are flooded with information from the moment we open our eyes to the moment we close them at night. 
When our head finally hits the pillow our mind races around trying to make sense and compartmentalise the overload received during the day. If we manage to stop it doing that it then starts thinking about all the things that we haven't had time to think about during the day due to the sensory overload of unimportant information! 

The problem is that our ancestral natural mind is not designed to deal with the modern technological overdose and the over stimulation it receives during the day. 
We are flooded with so much extra unnecessary information that achieving a peaceful mind has become virtually impossible. 
Information comes from tv, radio, phone, internet, newspaper, billboards... the list in endless.
Think about your journey to work, how much information you are given during your journey, most of which is unrequested and undesired? Phew... how does our brain even begin to filter out the required from the rubbish, how are we possibly supposed to 'find ourselves' between all the noise?
Stop.......Close your eyes.......and Breathe........ ahhhhhhhh
In order for us to see what we need to see and understand what is relevant to us, our spiritual growth and our inner peace we must turn off and tune into ourselves. We can only really see what we need and learn what we need to learn when we shut off the external influences and information overload.
Make sure each day you make the time to turn off and turn in.
Some great ways to switch off are - Meditation, Mindful walks in nature, Adult colouring or any other form of art, Yoga, Writing, Singing, Dancing and just about anything that involves being creative.

Forget the Destination..Enjoy the Journey
What if Dorothy focused only on the Wizard on Oz? Would she be so wise when she reached her destination? Would she have become so enlightened if all she thought about and focused on was reaching the destination? Probably not, and she would also be alone...having not noticed the wonderful variety of people hiding along her pathway.
If we focus so much on our destination we miss everything we need to learn on the way, as well as everyone we are supposed to interact with. 
When we reach a destination having worn blinkers for the whole journey, it can be very unsatisfying as the wisdom and sense of achievement we thought we may feel is not there, so we quickly set a new destination and blinkers on... we are off again. 
This is a cycle that is often repeated again and again. New goals, new targets and empty accomplishments.
The whole point of the Wizard of Oz is that Dorothy's journey has enlightened her by showing her many new and amazing experiences. In truly embracing her journey, including the hardships, by the the time she reaches the Wizard she realises she already has everything she needs and always did have, she just needed to experience the journey to realise it. Her journey was so much more important than the destination in the end.
In order to understand the destination when we arrive we must take off the blinkers, slow down and walk the journey with eyes, ears, heart and spirit wide open.


So do not miss a single brick on that yellow brick road of life as every single one is an experience of life itself in all its magical moments.
