Too Much knowledge clouds your wisdom

Each day we are bombarded with more information than we can possibly process.
We are constantly inundated by unwanted messages to the point where the ones that matter get lost in all the noise. Whether we are connected to the internet or not we are hit with information at every turn, at home, at work and all the points in between. Is all this knowledge making us wiser? Are we happier? Do we know ourselves better?
History suggests that despite all this extra knowledge we haven't learnt that much. Most of us are still asking the age old questions such as Who am I? Why am I here? What am I supposed to do with my life? Where am I going? What it is all about anyway? ....................................

Knowledge does not give us the answers. Knowledge is digested data not wisdom. Wisdom is the proper use of this knowledge. With so much information we are finding it harder to let go of the unwanted information to a point where we have so much knowledge that we are not using any of it as our minds feel like they may explode! Rather than processing and learning from the necessary bits we avoid it with TV, games or anything that can switch it off. To gain wisdom we must not switch off, we must tune in. We need to tune into our inner self, our passions, our desires, our wants, our dreams, our true self. Wisdom is found deep within our self, within our memories, our journeys, our lessons, our mistakes, our successes our loves, our losses, our joys, our pains, our whole being. All the things we have experienced on our life's journey are chunks of knowledge just waiting to be turned into wisdom. Our wisdom is within, when we wants answers, look inside your soul for your inner wisdom.
